Hello, my name is Theo Hogarth-Axford.
My conviction is that great design cannot happen without passion, intelligence, and, above all, personal commitment. I believe this is demonstrated by a portfolio that spans a wide variety of industries and clients of every size. I would welcome the opportunity to show you that I have the experience, talent, and passion to create and develop great brands.
My reputation has been built on my ability to balance creativity, strategic insight, and practical business sense to deliver strong and effective brand solutions.
My work encompasses graphics and identity, strategy and positioning, products and packaging, exhibitions, websites, videos and photography.
I have been working as a successful freelance graphic designer, videographer and photographer most of my working life while also working full time with various different companies throughout. I have just moved to the United States I am now looking to further my career with a new and engaging opportunities. I have in excess of nine (9) years of experience, and I would consider myself to be a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. My previous employers have described me as enthusiastic, reliable and a fast learner. I am also highly flexible, and willing to adapt to any change in circumstances, while still delivering the best possible results. I work very well independently, but I am also able to collaborate well in a team setting and communicate my ideas in an effective manner.
I believe that fully understanding and incorporating the client’s objectives is imperative.

I am a highly creative individual and have always been passionate about photography, video and particularly design, as demonstrated by my bachelor's degree in Film Theory and Film Production. My previous roles working in these fields have helped to further my interests as I gained valuable experience designing websites, print material, company brand identities, space planning as well as directing, shooting, animating and editing various exciting professional video projects. This also gave me beneficial experience in liaising with clients on a daily basis. During my time working with West Midlands Fire Service, I not only had the opportunity to flex my knowledge and understanding of design, photography, and videography, but I also gained valuable experience working in a collaborative creative atmosphere, refined my skills as a designer, and mastered working within tight deadlines. I am proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition.
